About OxFEP
The Oxford Feminist E-Press (OxFEP) is an open-access online platform publishing high-quality academic research in feminist and gender studies from a broad range of academic disciplines. We showcase innovative thinking and new methodologies in gender studies research.
OxFEP has two distinct streams of content:
Research Articles
OxFEP welcomes submissions of academic research articles of up to 8,000 words on any topic relating to the field of feminism and gender studies. A ‘Submission Guide for Authors’, and ‘OxFEP House Style’ can be found on our website.
Each submission to this stream will be reviewed initially by the Senior Editors before being sent out for anonymous peer-review.
The OxFEP Colloquium
The OxFEP Colloquium provides a space for creative and innovative expressions that capture themes and debates furthering the study of gender. This stream will also publish work-in-progress papers, conference papers and position papers. Work produced from IGS (and affiliated institutions) activities – such as conference and workshop reports – will also be published here.Submissions to this stream will be reviewed and edited ‘in-house’ by the Managing Editor and members of the OxFEP Committee. The aim of this stream is to invite discussion and feedback on this work from the wider academic community.
